Yes, there is a Teresa behind Teresa Caffe. Born Teresa Azario in Bergamo, Italy, her youth took her to Brazil where she met Raul Momo Marmonti - "e stato un colpo di fulmine." In 1960, and newly wed, our parents came to the United States and settled in the Bronx.

The Whole Earth Center is a community-based natural foods store. Founded by a group of local environmental activists, the store was started with two goals: to provide a place where Princeton-area residents can buy environmentally friendly foods and household products and to generate money to fund environmental projects and organizations. Thanks to the support of our community, that is exactly what Whole Earth has been doing since 1970.
As a locally owned independent retailer, we work closely with other businesses in our town to support organic farming, school gardens, bicycling, recycling, energy conservation, and other community friendly activities. Over the years Whole Earth has funded a wide range of innovative environmental education projects. We also provide a place where community members can learn about environmental issues and where they can take action to voice their support and concerns.
We invite you to visit our store to shop for the finest fresh and healthful locally grown, natural, and organic foods, dine in our vegetarian cafe, and learn more about environmentally friendly living.

At tables parked invitingly close to the fireplace or out on the bustling patio overlooking Palmer Square, guests savor modern American gastropub cuisine complemented by 19 craft beers on tap, an excellent wine list and signature seasonal libations.
The inscription carved into the wood beam above the Yankee Doodle Tap Room’s massive stone hearth dates back to 1756, when the English pub-style tavern welcomed its very first guests: "Rest Traveller, Rest, and Banish Thoughts of Care; Drink to Thy Friends and Recommend Them Here."
This benediction of warmth and friendliness has kept our legendary restaurant among Princeton’s most popular gathering spots. Amidst a 13-foot-wide original Norman Rockwell mural and solid oak booths and tabletops bearing names carved by notable Princeton University figures like “Dr. Einstein,” visitors and guests convene for everything from casual breakfast meetings to relaxing bus tour lunches and intimate couple’s night dinners. In addition to sports on six HD TVs, the Yankee Doodle Tap Room hosts seasonal craft beer tastings, live musical performances and other special events.

In the greater Princeton community, the YWCA Princeton is the primary force in generating the tremendous benefits that arise when women realize their full potential. Our organization’s unstoppable commitment to women leading self-determined lives is broadly recognized, respected, and supported.
We are valued as a voice for women—politically, socially, and individually—and as a means for women in all stages and walks of life to bring strength to each other.
Society has come a long way in eliminating racism and empowering women. But we still have a long way to go.
We reflect the values the national YWCA has held for more than 150 years, through suffrage, through the first interracial conference in the South in the early 20th century, through the fights for civil rights and affirmative action.
As you read through our course offerings, you’ll see our mission—to eliminate racism and empower women--is represented in every program we offer.
